Projects Underway
Freeway Service Patrol (FSP)
Tow truck patrols providing free service to motorists at commute hours on Hwy 1 and Hwy 17 and Sundays, selected holidays and Saturday's during the summer on Hwy 17. Work is coordinated with the CHP to quickly clear collisions, and remove debris from travel lanes to keep incident related congestion to a minimum and keep traffic moving.

Motorist Aide: Call Box System
Telephone call boxes along all highways plus maintenance and upgrades. Call boxes are directly linked to CHP.

Commute Solutions Rideshare

Program provides a matching service for carpoolers and vanpoolers, and information about other alternative transportation modes such as transit, walking, bicycling, telecommuting.
