10. Use of New Funding Sources for Our Transportation System
The level of community interest in pursuing a new source of funding for the transportation system in Santa Cruz County is completely dependent on the specific projects and modes the new funding source would support. A high degree of agreement is necessary for the successful implementation of any new transportation funding sources.
A new local funding source for transportation will only be successful if the projects and modes funded have very broad support across our community.
