Schedule of TFTF Workshops and Events
Thank you for your interest in the TFTF Workshop series. The first round of five identical workshops will take place throughout the county in April, May and June, 2006. Several questions will be presented for participants to address. In the website, you will be able to see the input from all web participants and a summary of the workshops.
Based on data collected in the first round of workshops, the SCCRTC will make recommendations regarding continuation onto another round of workshops. A second round, if continued, will take the process further into the planning and funding stage. After the second round, the TFTF will prepare recommendations on a package of local transportation projects and funding that has a wide base of support throughout the community to be presented to the SCCRTC.
You have the choice of attending the workshops in person, or submitting your input online through the Workbook. The Participation Guide, which is also available in print at the workshops or online, will provide important background information for your work. The on-line version has been designed to closely parallel the input opportunities that will take place in each workshop and workshop participants will have the direct benefit of interacting with other members of the community. You are strongly encouraged to attend a workshop, but if this is not possible consult the Participation Guide and contribute using the on-line Workbook.
Any documents related to each event are attached in PDF format. To open these documents you will need to have a free copy of Adobe Reader on your computer. Adobe Reader is available for free download here.
